Why this matters
A PDF excerpt is the simplest way to share a passage with students who need an offline copy or an accommodation.
Before you start
- Have an eBook open in the Reader.
- Note: the allowed percentage is set by the publisher (usually up to 10% of the book).
Step-by-step Instructions
- Click the three-dot menu (···) in the upper right of the Reader.
- Select "Save / Print to PDF."
- Choose the pages you want to download or print.
- Confirm the page range is within your publisher's allowed percentage at the bottom right of your screen.
- Save the PDF, then attach it to your Learning Management System (LMS) course if needed.
