Setting BibliU to open in a new tab from Moodle

To configure your Moodle LMS to launch the BibliU reader in a new tab, please follow the instructions below. A video tutorial is location at the bottom of this page. 

1. When you are in Moodle, click on Site Administration
2. Click on Plugins, and under the Activity modules section, select Manage Tools
   
   
   
3. Then click on the edit button shown below for the BibliU LTI 1.3 setup that you have already configured. (If you have not completed that set up then please follow the instructions on this page first).
   
   
   
   
4. On the following page, ensure that the Default launch container is set to New Window. 
5. Once that is done, click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
   
   
6. Go onto a course that you have, and click on Add an activity or resource
   
   
   
   
7. Click on External tool
   
   
   
8. Name the course and select BibliU from the Preconfigured tool box,
   
   
   
   
9. Click Save and return to course
   
   
10. Launch the BibliU reader 
    
    
    
    Now a new tab should have been launched with the BibliU reader.
    
    Please note
    If you have already added the External Link onto a course and then have changed the settings in the Site administration page, existing courses may not be updated with the new settings.
    
    In that situation please remove/delete the link and then add a new one once you have updated the settings.
