Why this matters
Code-free courseware is the smoothest student path. Talk to your Learning Management System (LMS) support team to get the publisher LTI link configured once and the paywall never appears for students.
Before you start
- You have an account set up with an active publisher (Cengage MindTap, Macmillan Achieve, etc.).
- You have access to your LMS course shell.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Set up your course on the publisher's platform (for example, Cengage MindTap or Macmillan Achieve).
- Provide the courseware link inside your LMS course or talk to your LMS coordinator about adding a publisher LTI integration directly into your LMS.
- Students click the "Courseware" placeholder in the BibliU Library; it tells them this course uses courseware and to access it from inside the LMS.
- The paywall is removed for students automatically. They should not be prompted to pay.
- If access fails, contact BibliU Support. For issues inside the courseware itself, contact the publisher.
Remember
If your students are being asked to pay for this type of material or are being asked for an access code, please contact BibliU Support so we can work with the publisher to take down the paywall.
