|---|---|
| My materials aren't showing up in my library. (Students and Faculty) | Confirm the term has started or is within two weeks of starting. If it has, contact your campus store or BibliU support. If not, wait for the two-week window. |
| How far in advance of class can I see my materials? (Faculty) | Materials appear two weeks before the start of class (1 week for short or Summer semesters). |
| How far in advance can my students see their materials? (Faculty) | Students also see materials two weeks before the start of class. |
| A student was added to my course yesterday but doesn't see materials. (Faculty) | Wait until the next morning. The 12 a.m.–5 a.m. enrollment sync will pick up the change. |
| I was just assigned to teach a class, but my library hasn't updated. (Faculty) | Wait until the next morning. The 12 a.m.–5 a.m. courses-and-sections sync will pick up the change. |
| My BibliU Library is still not correct after 24 hours. What should I do? (Student) | Open a BibliU Support ticket with the course name and code and the date the change was made. |
| How do I know if I'm using ebook, code-free, or coded courseware? (Student) | Click the placekeeper with the title of your course. eBooks open in the Reader. Code-free placekeepers simply directs students to the Learning Management System (LMS) without a code. Coded courseware shows students an access code to copy. |
| I can't access my courseware. Who do I contact? (Student) | Contact BibliU Support. Reference the course and material. |
| I can access the courseware, but something's broken inside it. (Student) | Contact the publisher directly. BibliU does not own content inside the courseware. |
| My students are seeing a paywall in their code-free courseware. (Faculty) | Confirm students click the courseware link from inside the LMS course, not from a bookmark or external link. If so, ask them to contact BibliU Support. |
| Where do my students get their access code for coded courseware? (Faculty) | Open the BibliU Library, find the course material placekeeper for "Courseware," copy the access code, paste it into the publisher link the faculty provided inside the LMS. |
| Will the code remain in the courseware placekeeper all semester? (Student) | Yes. The code stays in the placekeeper for the duration of the term so students can re-reference it. |
| Can I use a publisher-provided access code instead of the BibliU code? (Student) | No. Students should copy the code from BibliU only. Faculty should not use the BibliU code, but rather contact the publisher for a free instructor code. |
| Why does my book show a different edition than the one I submitted? (Faculty) | BibliU defaults to the most current edition. Confirm with your publisher rep what changed; if you need the prior edition, open a BibliU Support ticket with course and CRN. |
| Will I be notified if a newer edition becomes available? (Faculty) | Yes. BibliU notifies you when a newer edition is available. |
| Why don't I see the purple opt-out bar that my students mentioned? (Faculty) | Expected. The purple bar is student-only. About 3% of students opt out of the access program. |
| Can I get an instructor copy of my material through BibliU? (Faculty) | Open a BibliU Support ticket with the course, CRN, and material. Some titles route to the publisher rep. |
| I forgot to accept cookies and now the BibliU page won't load. (Faculty) | Reload the page and accept cookies when prompted. If the prompt doesn't return, clear site cookies for Bibliu.com and reload. |
| My Single Sign On (SSO) says my account isn't recognized. (Student or Faculty) | Sign in with your college email. If still not recognized, open a BibliU Support ticket from your SSO session. |
| The wrong semester or course list is showing. (Student) | Confirm the semester via your campus store or BibliU Support. Materials show two weeks pre-term and stay visible per institution policy. |
| The favorite icon (heart) isn't saving. (Faculty) | Refresh the library, try a different browser; if still not saving, open a BibliU Support ticket. |
| The eBook Reader won't load. (Faculty) | Reload the page, accept cookies, try a different browser. If still failing, see the Reader & Accessibility Fix It tree or contact BibliU Support. |
