Registering your LTI Integrated Courseware in McGraw Hill

In this article, you will find videos and instructions on how to navigate through Connect registration.

Deep integration (Canvas or other LMS integration)

This refers to the ability of McGraw Hill Connect to sync with Canvas. Instructors pair the two platforms so they’re linked for a seamless student experience. Whether a course is in Inclusive Access or not, the pairing process is the same, and so is the student registration process, with the paywall being the only difference.

Please see below on how to register for your McGraw Hill Courseware via LMS:

1. Login into your Canvas account and navigate to your course. If you are not sure if you have a Canvas account, check with your instructor.

2. Now you will want to find the Connect assignment link. It can be listed under the Assignments or Modules in the left navigation area. 

   Once you have found it, Click Begin to start the registration process.

3. Enter your email address and click Begin. If you receive the message, You have a Connect Account but have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password. 

    

   *Depending on your school you might skip this step. That’s ok! Just continue the process from that step to the end.

    

4. Create your account: Enter email, First and Last Name, create a password and select a security question. We recommend using your school email address when creating an account.
   To receive text alerts, enter your mobile number. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and then click Continue.
   
5. You are almost done. Review the information on this screen. If it is correct, click Confirm.  
   You are now registered.

Standalone

This means the instructor has not paired Connect with Canvas. In this scenario the student will need the section specific Connect course URL. Most instructors don’t know where to find this, and that’s where McGraw Hill comes in. The standalone scenario is rare, but it’s worth having these on hand just in case! See instructions below:

1. Enter your course URL provided by your instructor. Enter your email address and click Begin. If you receive the message, You have a Connect Account  but have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password. 
   

2. Create your account:  Enter email, First and Last Name, create a password and select a security questions. To receive text alerts, enter your mobile number.  Agree to the Terms and Conditions and then click Create Account.
   Note: We recommend using your school email address when creating an account. 
   
   
3. You are almost done. Review the information on this screen. If it is correct, click Complete Registration.  You are now registered.
