If you are having issues with registering or accessing your Pearson coded courseware, we have listed the steps below for you to successfully access them on Pearson.
- Log into our course in Blackboard. You should be looking at a page pretty much like this:
- Click the Course Content folder
- Click the BibliU link in the Course Content folder. The first time you try this, you will get an error message saying you need to complete BibliU email verification. You can look for this email in your school's email account or click the button that says to Resend Verification Email and then go look for the new email and click the verification button in it. If you are having issues, contact us at support@bibliu.com
- Reload the BibliU page (or click the BibliU link in the Course Content folder again, and you
should have an icon called Courseware now. - Click the Courseware icon and you should get a screen like this with an access code
pre-populated in the box - Click the blue Copy Code button, and you’ll be taken to the Pearson website.
- Unfortunately, you seem to need a Course ID for this page which you won’t have. Close the
Pearson tab, go back to your Blackboard tab, and use the purple X in the top left corner to
close the access code screen. You will be looking at the Course Content folder again - This time click on the Pearson Access link in the Course Content folder, and you should get a
screen like this one. You shouldn’t see the Instructor Tools, but you should have an All
Assignments link, a MyLab and Mastering Course Home link, and the orange Open MyLab &
Mastering button that you see here - When you click on either of the links or the orange button, you should get a kind of Pearson
login screen that you use to connect your existing Pearson account (if you have one) to
Blackboard. Use your existing Pearson username and password, or scroll down a bit to the
Create Account button (we think it’s blue). - Once you’re done logging into your existing Pearson account or creating a new Pearson
account, you should be taken to a “Payment” screen. The option on the left side of this screen
has a button labeled Access Code. Click that, and you’ll get a string of boxes to put your
access code in. Click in the first box and paste the access code you copied in Step 5, and then click on Submit button to proceed. - Once you are registered in MyStatLab, you can click the Go to My Courses button to start
working on your assignments right away. Happy reading!
For future sessions, you should be able to ignore the BibliU link and just use the Pearson Course Access link and any of the links on that screen to get to your MyStatLab course. Additionally, you can go to mymathlab.com and login directly with your Pearson username and password, if you don’t want to go through Blackboard each time.
