LTI 1.1 Integration with Brightspace/D2L

How to Install

1. Go to Admin Tools, External Learning Tools.
2. Select "Manage Tool Providers"
3. Select on "New Tool Provider"
4. Use the following information to complete the fields that appear:
   • Launch Point: https://bibliu.com/users/lti
   • OAuth Signature Method: HMAC-SHA1
   • Secret: Secret given to you by your BibliU representative.
   • Key: Key given to you by your BibliU representative.
   • Visibility: Check the box to allow users to use this tool provider.
5. Security Settings: Please check all boxes.
6. Click Save and Close.

To add the tool as an option for your school's courses, follow the steps below:

1. Select "Manage external learning tool links"
2. Select "New link"
3. Enter the following information in the fields:

   • Title: Enter the name you’d like to display in your courses- for example, "BibliU eText Materials"

   • URL: https://bibliu.com/users/lti
   • Visibility: Check the “Allow users to view this link” box.
   • Key/Secret: Tool consumer key/secret provided by BibliU.
   • Security Settings: Use tool provider security settings.
4. Click Save and Close.
