BibliU has partnered with Arab Open University (AOU) to deliver digital learning resources to student. To streamline the implementation of titles on AOU’s library, there is a simple and efficient process to follow. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to request to implement titles using the BibliU platform.
Step 1: Upload the File and Metadata Using FTP
The first step in the process is to upload the required file, along with its metadata, to your designated FTP folder. This file should be named using the book's ISBN, ensuring it is easily identifiable.
How to Upload the File:
- Ensure that the document you are uploading is in the correct format required by the platform (typically PDF or EPUB).
- Prepare the metadata for the title using the format here. If you are unable to
- Access your FTP folder and upload the file with the ISBN as its name. This ensures that the file is properly indexed and retrievable for further processing.
Step 2: Email BibliU Support for Implementation
Once you have successfully uploaded the file and metadata to the FTP folder, the next step is to notify BibliU for the title implementation. Send an email to support@bibliu.com with the details of the uploaded file.
Important Details to Include in the Email:
- The ISBN of the file you have uploaded
- Confirmation that the file and metadata have been uploaded to the correct FTP folder
By doing this, BibliU’s support team will begin processing your request for title integration on the platform.
Step 3: Receive the Delivery Link from BibliU
Once BibliU has completed the implementation process, they will send you a delivery link. This link can then be used to integrate into Arab Open University’s Learning Management System.
