Different types of BibliU ‘adoptions’

There are 4 different types of ‘adoptions’ that will be provided by BibliU as part of the Eagle Advantage Program. These are referred to as ‘content types’.

1. eBook 
2. LTI Courseware
3. Coded Courseware
4. Print

Please reach out to support@bibliu.com if you need to verify the ‘content type’ for your class.

1) BibliU eBook

• This provides strictly eBook access via the BibliU platform. This does not include supplementary publisher software (e.g. McGraw-Hill Connect, Pearson MyLab, Cengage MindTap). Only an eBook is provided.
• The eBook is available by clicking through the link to BibliU in the LMS system. The eBook will appear when a student/faculty clicks through the link.

2) LTI Courseware

• LTI integrated courseware is course content that is provided through a direct integration with the Publisher and the LMS.
  For example, Cengage WebAssign, McGraw Hill Connect and Pearson Revel are all examples of courseware material that is considered LTI integrated courseware.
• These adoptions are not available through the BibliU eReader and link to BibliU in the LMS system.
• Students will be able to access the courseware directly via the link and will not require an access code.
• Please work with publisher representatives to configure this material.
• Students are able to opt-out via the BibliU eReader and link to BibliU in the LMS system.

3) Coded Courseware

• Access Code Courseware is course content that is accessed by using a student specific access code.
  For example, Pearson Mastering & MyLabs, FA Davis and Jones and Bartlett require access codes to use their content.
• To retrieve their access code, students will go to their BibliU library where they will see a title appear on their bookshelf.
  After clicking on the book tile the access code will appear along with instructions for using the code & link to the publisher website.

4) Print

• Printed text adoptions that are part of Eagle Advantage can be picked up or delivered to students, through the process below.
