BibliU is built with accessibility at its core — we believe everyone deserves a great reading experience, regardless of how they learn best! Here's a rundown of the accessibility features available to you.
Our Accessibility Standards
BibliU meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA standard and has received a 100% ASPIRE score. We're always evolving our features to better support all learning styles and individual needs.
Available Accessibility Features
Read Aloud (Text-to-Speech)
BibliU can read your textbook aloud! Select the text you'd like to hear, click the Read Aloud button, and press Play. You can adjust the reading accent and speed from the bottom menu. See our full guide: Read Aloud / Text-to-Speech Is Not Working.
Keyboard Navigation
The BibliU library and reader are fully navigable using keyboard commands on desktop and laptop — no mouse required. This includes navigating between books, opening content, and moving through pages.
Font and Display Customisation
You can adjust font size, switch between reading modes (publisher layout vs. reflowable text), and change text formatting to suit your reading preferences.
Highlighting and Annotations
Highlight text in multiple colours and add personal notes directly in the book — great for visual learners. Your highlights and annotations sync automatically across all your devices.
Offline Mode
Download your books to read without an internet connection, making BibliU accessible anywhere — even without Wi-Fi.
Dictionary
Look up the meaning of any word directly in the reader using the built-in dictionary feature.
Dedicated Accessibility Support
If you have a specific accessibility need not covered above, or if you encounter any accessibility issues while using BibliU, please reach out to our dedicated accessibility team at accessibility@bibliu.com — we'd love to hear from you and help!
