Automating the course schedule
BibliU's adoption process is designed to be streamlined and efficient and requires customers to provide an automated Course Schedule file, that helps ensure data is always up-to-date between the BibliU adoptions too, and the Library Management System.

BibliU has a hosted FTP server which will allow you to transfer data via SFTP to ensure secure transfer.
How does the course schedule affect your booklist:
- Professors courses will automatically show up on their Adoptions page on the Adoption tool which makes it easy to request content for those courses - they are automatically assigned to courses and will receive their books without needing to go through the LMS
- Courses received that don’t have Adoptions will be visible as soon as they’re received, helping flag any late adoptions or changes to the course setup
- Removed courses will have their requests cancelled and removed from the booklist
Uploading your booklist
To facilitate fast streamlined onboarding, BibliU supports a booklist upload in-app, from a standardised template.
Download the template here (or get the template directly from the Bulk Upload page in-app).
Step 1: Click on Bulk Upload under the Booklist navigation in the BibliU Adoptions Tool. Click ‘Browse to Upload’ and select your CSV list of chosen materials collected from faculty, including the publisher, edition, and any required courseware.
If you would like to replicate past adoptions, you can bulk upload a previously used template to create your tailored library of content instantly.
Step 2: BibliU processes the upload within seconds and notifies you of any errors with the upload in-app, allowing you to adjust, review and approve the booklist import. Once complete the Booklist dashboard is automatically updated to reflect the status of each adoption.
Errors are identified upon upload to help you diagnose any issues and make the adoptions process faster with reduced communication needed during BibliU review stages.

Making adoptions
Faculty members curate their own content and submit adoptions for internal approval within the BibliU Adoptions Tool. The faculty members can view their own courses and review the titles which have been associated with those courses as part of the booklist upload.
Faculty member specific dashboard allows staff to see their own adoptions.
They can search a catalog of over 2 million titles, instantly view the digital version, share inspection copies, and request new titles to be sourced. BibliU’s catalog includes publisher textbooks, Open Education Resources, courseware, and research materials.
Course / department managers have final control over adoptions made by their faculty.
Faculty have the freedom to request any content they wish to adopt. The Faculty member specific dashboard allows staff to see their own adoptions.

Understanding statuses
BibliU's adoption tool ensures that adoptions are never the cause of delayed access to content for students, and the entire experience is digitized and automated where appropriate. This means that adoptions are delivered quickly and accurately, with visibility for faculty over their adoptions, for continually smoother implementations.
