Analytics Dashboard

Introduction

Our dashboards are designed to provide university administrators and academics data-driven insights into BibliU's platform. It includes customisable dashboards that display your institution's title catalogue as well as the usage and reading habits of your student-base. 

This article provides an initial onboarding for how to use the analytics dashboard. Please find attached at the bottom of this article a downloadable step-by-step onboarding presentation for the dashboard.

Setting up the Dashboard

Log-In

The BibliU team should set you up with a BibliU admin account at the point of onboarding, so you are set up when you sign into https://bibliu.com/admin. From the admin portal click into the Course, Library or Student Report using the navigation table on the left hand-side. 

If you cannot get access, share your unique identifier with your customer success manager and let them know that you need to be set up. 

Using the dashboard

You're able to customise the data you see by using the controls at the top of the dashboard. The illustration below provides an insight into the filters you can use:

The dashboards also allow for users to export the data, so it could be used in a spreadsheet. 

Select any view, click the three dots on the right hand side, then select ‘Export to CSV’ 

Summary Level Tab

This tab is designed for university administrators interested in the success of BibliU. 

A use case could be if a librarian wanted to understand the average duration of a session of reading on the BibliU app from its student-base.

Course Usage

This tab is designed for university administrators interested in understanding adoption across their entire eTextbook program. 

Librarians have used this in the past to drive targeted interventions for courses or departments with below average uptake of BibliU learning resources. 

Titles 

This tab is designed for librarians to understand more granular engagement patterns, digging a level below course usage. 

This could be used by a librarian to make an informed renewal decision on a piece of content, understanding detailed usage stats and ROI for each title. 

Users 

This tab is designed for administrators, librarians or academics who want to understand their student's adoption of the app. 

Librarians have used this dashboard in the past when they have newly onboarded students onto BibliU and want to understand how quickly new students have adapted to the platform. 

Raw Data

This tab is for administrators, librarians or academics who want to customise the dashboard data easily. 

A librarian might use this tab to look at the usage of all titles in a particular exam week.
