Step 1. To access the acquisition portal, please log into the admin portal. You will then see a tab called “Acquisitions” on the left.
Step 2. Once you are in the acquisitions tab, if you do not find a specific title or if you wish to place a bulk request scroll down until you see the “Send us your request” button.
Step 3. Click on the button and you will be brought to a page that you can request new titles from. Please provide your email address and click on “OK” or press enter.
Step 4. Please enter your university and click on “OK” or press enter.
Step 5. Then select either single request (1 title) or bulk request (more than 1 title). If you selected “Single request” move onto step 6, if not, please move onto step 12.
Step 6. Please enter the ISBN and click on “OK” or press enter.
Step 7. Please add the Title of the book and click on “OK” or press enter.
Step 8. Please add the Author(s) of the book and click on “OK” or press enter.
Step 9. Please add the publisher of the book and click on “OK” or press enter.
Step 10. Please share any specific licence length/model preferences. The number of FTEs (especially for TbT titles). Or if there is a specific edition required.
Step 11. Please repeat steps 2-10 any other single title requests. Once priced, they will be added to the shared sheet and if you have set up notifications on the shared sheet, you will be notified of any additions.
Step 12. If “Bulk Requests” was selected, please upload a file with all of the necessary information for us to price the titles. These titles will then be added to your shared sheet.
